We are pleased to announce that the annual postgraduate colloquium in the School of English Literature, Language and Linguistics will take place on May 21st 2012.
This event will offer new academics from all research areas the opportunity to participate in an exciting and enjoyable conference-style event, where they can present their work and ideas in a supportive and intellectually stimulating environment.
The theme of this year’s colloquium is Boundaries.

Canon-building; syllabus-construction and publishing practices
Text and reader: stage and audience
Taste, decency, censorship and illicit language

We invite interested individuals to submit a 250-word abstract (plus titles) on the topic of your choice. Final papers should be 15-20 minutes in length. Deadline for abstracts is 30th March.
